4 Healthy Soups for a Natural Glow

When the wind is blowing and it’s chilly outside, soup is one of my favorite remedies. It’s a soothing, quick meal that warms me up from the inside out.

Soup is…

  • Nourishing
  • Hydrating
  • Delicious
  • Detoxifying
  • Great for weight loss (unless it’s creamy and covered in cheese!)

…and it freezes well!

When you’re pressed for time during the week, making a big pot of soup ahead of time allows you to freeze smaller portions to reheat when you’re hungry.  Paired with your favorite bread or toast and a salad, soup makes for simple, healthy fare.

So much variety

Whether you prefer blended soups, broths, creamy concoctions, chunky and hearty soups, soup recipes hold infinite possibilities and endless ways to add nutrient-dense foods to mealtime.

Getting inspiration

Recipes are excellent ways to get inspired, looking at pictures, talking to friends, and getting creative with what’s in the fridge and cupboard. When I stumble upon a winner, I always note it down so that I can play with it or adapt it in the future if I want to.
