| Yoga for Kids Goes Eco |
|
February 2009 Wai Lana, children’s yoga teacher and
host of the long-running PBS television series Wai Lana Yoga,
makes the world of children’s yoga greener this month with her new
eco-friendly yoga products for kids. These new products help kids learn to
love yoga and exercise, leading them toward greater fitness, balance,
and well-being. At the same time, they use nontoxic, ecologically sustainable
materials that are kid-friendly and planet-friendly too. “As a parent, I’ve enjoyed watching
my own children grow up to embrace healthy lifestyles,” says Wai Lana,
“and I know that a little encouragement when they’re young goes
a long way. That is why I’m pleased to be able to offer parents fun
and healthy products for children that are also good for the planet.” Wai Lana’s new products include a kid-sized,
phthalate-free Eco Mat as well as a kid-sized Stretch &
Play Eco Yoga Ball Kit. Kids can tote their mat with the Little
Yogis Eco Tote Kit, which comes with a mat, a cartoon poster with
21 poses, and Wai Lana’s award-winning Little
Yogis DVD, as well as silly cartoon stickers. Wai Lana launches her new products from
February 15 – 18 at the Toy Fair in New York. Her already popular
Little Yogis line includes exercise DVDs, music CDs, mats, kits,
games, and activity books and can be seen online at www.wailana.com. Press Contact: Wholesale Orders: |
