This CD soundtrack by Wai Lana is the music you've heard in the background on each of the tapes in [the Easy] series. The music will help you relax, meditate, and find inspiration. Each track is earthly and ethereal, and playing it during your yoga asanas without the videotape will make that experience comforting. Favorite songs of mine include: "Call of the Plains," "Seaside," and "Crystal Stream."

The listener to Yoga Music of the Heart is offered a unique and innovative "East meets West" release that merges traditional chants and acoustic instruments with modern electronic instrumentation and effects. A modern-day yoga advocate, Wai Lana has numerous TV shows and videos promoting yoga to her credit, and this instrumental music release seems to capture the contained energy and harmonious movement of yoga within its beautiful layers of sound. Sounding like a cross between Kitaro, Andreas Vollenweider, and Donovan, this is a New Age delight from beginning to end. It also receives my highest recommendation to all.
