Sometimes if I’m feeling a little blue, I put in a Wai Lana Yoga video just to watch because they’re so beautiful that they’re very uplifting for me.
Over the years, many people who have been introduced to yoga by Wai Lana, or who have been inspired by her in their yoga practice, have written with questions or gracious expressions of gratitude.
While practicing with Wai Lana, it helps make my activities easier. Also picking up things… because sometimes, when we age, we get a little stiff, so it helps me to relax those muscles. When I wake up early in the morning, it’s just best to work with Wai Lana, first thing.
The sounds in Wai Lana’s sound meditation take you away. They put the mind in the right place instead of my thoughts wandering in silent meditation.
It’s easier to handle things that come my way during the day because I’m doing Wai Lana Yoga and I’m calmer. When things happen, no matter what it is—you get cut off on the freeway, or you can’t find your keys—I just take a deep breath, and I’m learning to observe things rather than take part in all the drama that the day can bring. It’s helpful. It’s peaceful.
I do Wai Lana exercises every day. I lost 6 lbs and owe it all to Wai Lana!
I particularly like the meditation part of Wai Lana because I am a type A personality. As a type A personality, the more I can do to relax and kick back and meditate, the better off I am from a physiological standpoint and a psychological standpoint.

I am so impressed with the Deluxe Hibiscus Totes. The design is absolutely gorgeous and I love all of the colors. The shoulder strap is a great size, I love the zipper and the lining. They are so beautiful. I've been buying Wai Lana products for years. I have her DVD's, cd's and mats. I think she is absolutely wonderful and gorgeous. I just love her products, they are really good.
The way Wai Lana teaches relaxation is, in a way, the dessert on the yoga meal. It really helps to seal in the benefits of the poses, and we’ve found that it’s actually kind of a new approach. I’ve done relaxation stuff. But to take each body part, going say from the toes to the feet to the ankles, is really very helpful.
My osteopenia, it hasn’t progressed. I’m certain that it’s due to practicing yoga with Wai Lana.
I started with the power yoga, which I have to say was very lovely for a long period of time, however I injured myself. And after that injury, I was not able to recover and continue doing power yoga. So I started switching around looking for something that would be gentler on my body. And it was really nice to find Wai Lana’s videos. It was nice to see the progression, with no injury.

I just love Wai Lana, she is really, really good. I watched 5 different yoga instructors before finding Wai Lana and she is definitely the best.
I had a stroke in June. At first I started doing some easier yoga, then I started practicing the Hello Fitness Series which really helped me a lot. I also have vertigo and get panic attacks, I was very scared I was going to get another stroke. It’s a miracle how much practicing Wai Lana Yoga has helped me. If it were not for Wai Lana's tapes I would not be feeling as good as I do now. My body is also getting firm which is great. Thank you very much.
Wai Lana has a sense of serenity and clarity so that you can run through the exercises knowing what is expected of you. She doesn’t push to the point where you are afraid of injuries and she leaves you with both a physical and an emotional serenity.

I’ve always had an interest in yoga but never pursued it. I've seen many yoga dvds but it wasn’t until I discovered Wai Lana on tv while I was travelling that she really made everything make sense. She really moved me from just thinking about doing yoga to taking action and doing yoga.

I'm 83 years old and I've been practicing Wai Lana Yoga for 20 years. I use her tapes every morning, they really help.
When I was in the hospital 12 years ago for a knee replacement I brought my Wai Lana tapes with me. i did all of the sitting up exercises I could. People kept coming in the room to see what I was doing because they loved the music on the tapes so much.

JuanitaI feel amazing after practicing Wai Lana Yoga. I've been practicing yoga for about 36 years and discovered Wai Lana a few years ago. Other yoga teachers don't make me feel amazing like Wai Lana does. I feel happy and my body becomes energized.Wai Lana has a great personality, has nice energy, is happy and has a beautiful way about her. I love that the ocean is in the background when she is teaching yoga.
I love Wai Lana. I've been practicing with Wai Lana for many years, she is really good and I really like her yoga sessions. My husband and I are great admirers. I really like the fact that during her yoga sessions she only says what needs to be said. She is classy, beautiful and I love her clothes.
I watch Wai Lana on PBS every day. Today I saw Yoga for Office Work where everything was done in a chair. It was fabulous, I just loved it! It is something I could do at work.
I try to practice Wai Lana Yoga everyday on PBS day before I go to work. It is so relaxing. I really like the scenery in the background, I love the music, I love her voice and I love how she dances at the end of the show. I love dancing along with her!
I own a fitness club and I'm also a fitness trainer. I'm going to let my clients know about her and bring my Wai Lana dvds into the club!
The thing I like about Wai Lana Yoga is she’s very soothing and has a very relaxing presence. She’s not competitive at all. You don’t feel like you’re letting her down if you don’t do it the “right” way.
From doing Wai Lana Yoga, I’m much calmer, I’m much stronger. It’s helped me train for Rugged Maniac, an event that I do here in New York. It’s a three mile race with 25 obstacles, and I was able to complete it for the first time last year. This year I’m doing it for the second time, and I already know that I have the strength that I need to have for it, thanks to Wai Lana.
The first time I played it and it went into the mantra I cried. I didn't know what I was connecting to but I knew that I was connecting to her. And the music was really strong for me. Whenever I feel weak or unable to do what I need to do I put it on. And I just flow with it. And I've used it as a medium for my wellness since the first time I saw her on television. And I wish there was more, I wish there was more.
Wai Lana is just amazing and different from the other yoga instructors I have seen. She is very soft spoken, she is really down to earth and I love how she explains the benefits of each pose. I'm so impressed with her and love her to pieces. I tell everyone about her!
