Don’t hold the poses as long as I do. Either repeat the pose a few times, holding just for a few seconds, or rest when your body is tired.
Bend your knees slightly when bending forward from a standing position or when sitting with legs extended.
Turn your head or bend your neck only as far as is comfortable.
When you raise your legs while lying on your back, raise one leg at a time. Also, keep your leg bent at the knee while raising it. You can also place your hands under your buttocks for more support.
