About Lay Me Down
Before going to sleep at night, many children are taught to say their prayers. It’s such a nice way to express gratitude, forgiveness, and put into perspective what’s really important in life. Lay Me Down was inspired by a popular prayer and can help you relieve stress and anxiety so you can have a truly restful sleep.
According to our own beliefs, we may pray for ourselves or others, we may pray for a better world, or better health, we may not pray at all and express gratitude and forgiveness in our own way. Or, like in Lay Me Down, we can pray for and meditate upon something we all need, to find actual fulfillment within ourselves. This is the goal of the yoga teachings—that we find a deeper joy that allows us to find refuge in any circumstances. Lay Me Down is a song about seeking out and finding such refuge.
